The Fraser Street Deli has been a downtown staple since the late 1970s. It originated as the Stage Door Deli and was later called the Celebrity Deli, with the sandwiches named after Hollywood stars. In 2005, they changed the name to reflect the location and named the sandwiches after local 'celebrities.'
