Centre County Buy Fresh Buy Local!
The Best Food You'll Ever Taste Comes from Your Backyard: Get Fresh, Local Food in Centre County – it's as Easy as Freshly-Picked Apple Pie!
The Centre County Chapter of Buy Fresh Buy Local® is a project of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) dedicated to bringing consumers and businesses together with the local food producers in their area. Why? Because buying local food supports your community, reduces the distance your food travels,
and guarantees you the freshest, best tasting foods possible. Local eating is good for your family, your neighbors, your regional economy, and the environment!
Want to know what's happening in the local food world and what will your favorite farmers market have each week? Sign up for the Local Eaters' News at http://www.buylocalpa.org/centre/. You'll find listings for local food providers and events and you can add your own local food provider, farm, or business, share your local food recipes, or post local food events!
