Come one, come all! Penn State University's Annual Parents Weekend

This upcoming weekend of September 16th-18th, Penn State welcomes all parents and families to the University. The goal of this special event is to open up the University in many different ways so parents can experience the beauty of Penn State and see where their children live for nine months out of the year.

The weekend includes a plethora of scheduled activities for everyone to enjoy on Friday, Saturday, ad Sunday. Some of the events includes receptions/presentations for each college at Penn State, Cirque de Soleil, a women's volleyball game, a career service information session, housing options and study abroad meetings, and Lion Ambassador tours of the Old Main Bell Tower. if you would like to branch out on your won and explore campus most places such as the Arboretum, Beaver Stadium, Palmer Art Museum, the Berkey Creamery, the HUB, and Pattee & Paterno Libraries will be open.

State College, PA will be high spirited between October 3rd- 15th 2011 because of homecoming. This is a time where alumni, locals, and students can take a break from their busy lives to have fun and support The Lions football team before they have their game against the Purdue Boilermakers. Some of the events are open to certain crowds.
