Penn State Wrestling: What Does It Take To Be #1?
Tonight marks the biggest match in recent memory for the 11-0 Penn State Wrestling team as they take on #22 Pittsburgh in front of a sellout crowd at Rec Hall.
The Nittany Lions enter tonight's match ranked #2 in the country, but last night #1 Cornell was upset by #14 Lehigh making Penn State the de facto #1 team. Penn State now has the chance to take the top spot in the polls for the first time since 2008 with victories tonight and Sunday at Indiana.
Tonight's match will be televised nationally on the Big Ten Network starting at 6pm.
