Penn State Football Parking Information - 2011

SPECIAL NOTICE: 2011 PSU vs. Alabama Game Parking Updates

Limited overnight parking for recreational vehicles ONLY is permitted Thursdays after 6 p.m. in the designated area (see Football Parking Map - updated for 2011!) The charge is per game: $120 for Thursday through Sunday, and $60 for Friday through Sunday. The parking area can accept vehicles whose total length does not exceed 40 feet. There may be separate charges for towing and towed vehicles if trailer must detach due to length restrictions. No electrical hookups are available. There are no reserved spaces in the overnight RV area. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cars accompanying RVs are subject to separate fees and rules as outlined by overnight parking attendants and are available online.

Portable generators are not permitted at any time and all generator use is prohibited between 12 midnight and 7 a.m.

Intercollegiate Athletics reserves the right on the basis of safety concerns, to shut down any generator at any time in the overnight parking lot.

RVS TOWING CARS WILL BE CHARGED AS TWO (2) VEHICLES. TOWED CARS WILL BE PARKED IN A LOT NEAR THE OVERNIGHT RV PARKING. TOWED BOX TRAILERS OF ANY TYPE ARE PROHIBITED.

You can also bring cars towing campers and park in the RV area. Please note the maximum length from the front of the truck to back of the camper is 40 feet. 

Trucks over 3/4 ton are prohibited. Buses allowed in designated areas only.

Purchasing Parking Tickets In Advance

To purchase in advance via phone, you must place an order no later than 10 days prior to the game, by calling the Penn State Athletics Customer Relations Center at 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269).

Prices are found above and service fees will apply: $5 / season pass or $2 / per individual pass.

You may purchase a maximum of (3) season passes or (3) passes for any individual game.

All major credit cards accepted and the parking pass will be mailed via standard US Mail.

Unfortunately, specific locations cannot be guaranteed.

You may also make a personal visit to the Penn State Athletic Ticket Office in the Bryce Jordan Center, Monday through Friday between 10 am - 4:30 pm. The Athletic Ticket Office will NOT be open on Gamedays to sell parking passes

Purchasing Parking Tickets On Gameday

You may also purchase parking when you arrive at the gameday parking lots. As you near the Stadium, Traffic Control and University Police will direct you to the appropriate parking lots. Fee is collected in cash only and, again, specific locations cannot be guaranteed. 

Handicap Parking Information

In accordance with Pennsylvania law, there is parking is available near the stadium for persons with disabilities. Lot #9 is the designated area for vehicles with a Person with Disability Placard/Plate. You will need to enter from the west on Park Avenue and follow the instruction of the attendants. Parking passes may be purchased in advance or purchased on game day.

Ticket holders arriving in private recreational vehicles (RV) displaying a Person with Disability Placard/Plate (RV) must approach from the East or North and from there will be directed to a parking lot that provides shuttle service for the person with the disability and a companion. Shuttle Busses will circulate this lot for two hours prior to kickoff and will stop at Gate B west of the stadium. Due to gameday traffic controls, you may not be able to enter this designated lot if you approach stadium parking from the South or West. In this case, you will be directed to a parking lot that may not provide shuttle service. For questions or to purchase in advance, call Penn State Athletics Customer Relations at 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269) at least ten (10) days prior to the game.

Patrons requiring a wheelchair should call Lisa Clark at 1-800-NITTANY (1-800-648-8269) at least ten days prior to the game to purchase the proper parking pass for designated parking areas near the stadium.
