“You’ve got a friend in Pennsylvania” is still a favorite of our ever-changing Pennsylvania slogans.  In this spirit, we say hello, and remind you, you’ve got friends in Happy Valley! 

Happy Valley, the crown jewel of Pennsylvania, shines all year. Penn State brings Big 10 sports action all year and one-of-a-kind events like Arts Festival lure visitors from across the country. Pittsburgh Pirate affiliate, the State College Spikes, provide great family fun during baseball season and cultural experiences like shows, concerts and films are available at one of many venues, including Eisenhower Auditorium, Bryce Jordan Center and The State Theatre.  

As a mecca for hikers, mountain bikers, campers, boaters and fishermen, our parks, lakes, rivers and streams come to life with outdoor enthusiasts in every season. And no matter the time of year, we’re always excited for football season, and can’t wait to get our tailgating arms and legs into shape. 

Indeed, Happy Valley is at its best in every season, and it’s our job to help you make the most of it.  We’re also working hard to meet the rising demand of friends, family, visitors, and Penn State alumni to live here, retire here, or invest in a weekend home here. So whether you live here, are visiting, are planning your move, or are just dreaming about it, enjoy the site and check back often.
