Penn State Football Players Thank O'Brien

In the wake of Bill O'Brien's departure for the NFL, one thing is abundantly clear. The football program is better off than when he arrived. Below are tweets from several Penn State football players and they are all supportive of O'Brien's decision to chase his dream of being an NFL coach.

I was beginning to get positive waves from Obrien. Now I have come to realize that PSU was only a step for him back to the NFL.
We are quick to forget JoePa's turning down several NFL offers and his feeling for PSU and the whole State College way of life. That loyalty on his part was misplaced by the Administration of the University failure to defend him! The university deserves what they get. I am very disappointed and exasperated that there was no fight. The wins of JoePa being erased without a fight is cowardly and something I cannot accept. My support for the university is now reduced the the level of support for Paterno, zero!
