Letter to Joe - Grew up with PSU

My family grew up with Penn State. Saturdays in the Fall meant day trips to PSU and tailgating and many other day trips were taken throughout the year. My kids would always ask to drive by Joe's house.....they couldn't understand why he was never spotted taking out the garbage or cutting the grass but every non-football game trip had a drive-by. They are grown now and when I was in State College on Wednesday, I took a side trip by the house. It looked desolate and lifeless......little did I know at that time that Joe's days were numbered. A lone sign was on the front lawn....here's to you JoePA......I am so glad now that I made the right turn off Park Ave and drove by...
